Design Statement

Ionia

Ionia is a mobile e bike application where e bike users can check current data from the battery and solve battery related problems remotely without going to the service which first main purpose. Apart from the service features, we have introduced Ionia as an e bike sports application which makes many functional features related to the battery accessible in daily life with a user friendly interface.

Duxiaoxiao

Duxiaoxiao, with an appearance of digitalized human, is a new generation of AI digital assistant. Through AI technology, she possesses the thinking, expression, emotion, and learning abilities like a human being. By communicating with users, she will gradually develop different personalities and constantly understand users’ preferences. Such anthropomorphic interaction can bring a relaxing experience of acquiring structured information and knowledge and an emotional interactive companionship to users.

Space Paradox

Poise and attitude, she is a 1920's woman. Bright colours and sparkly gems; feathers tall and confidant like the woman she is. Her hat represents her masculinity and strength while her bodysuit complements her enticing feminine figure. She is energetic and excited for the change in the world to come. The inspiration started with the desire to represent and celebrate women in a vibrant and eye-catching. The colors are inspired by the surroundings of the Cayman Islands and the design is inspired by the showgirl of the 1920s with a fusion of modern-day carnival.

Woman in Power

Woman in Power is a design that pays homage to the strength and ability of women. From being survivors of breast cancer and abuse, women have endured and continue to show their strength and resilience. The Woman in Power Costume Design was an expressive way to show the vibrancy, willingness, and power of women. When women see the design, the designer hopes it reminds them that they are strong, they are powerful and they too must take up space in this world.

Collaborative Aid

17.5 million people die of sudden cardiac death every year. This application allows users to call people nearby rather than distant hospital for first-aid, and get guidance for accident witnesses to perform first-aid to victim before others arrive, which helps to shorten rescue time. It also encourages users who lack first-aid knowledge to get free training and help victims. To make it easier for users to start, the interaction design of this app is simple and straightforward. The design concept is based on collaborative work, which propose an efficient possibility to handle sudden death.
