Kasane no Irome - Piling up Colors

An installation design of Japanese Dance. Japanese have been piling up colors from olden times to express sacred things. Also, piling up the paper with square silhouettes has been used as a thing representing sacred depth. Nakamura Kazunobu designed a space that changes the atmosphere by changing to various colors with such square "piling up" as a motif. Space Paradox

Space Paradox is a conceptual video about the nature and limits of space. The film uses three world forms as its background: the spatial world of entities, the multidimensional world of fractals, and the world of logic and human consciousness. The transformation and overlap of the three forms present a dialectic between entity and vacuum, space and consciousness. The starting point is the question of the edge of space raised by Archytas, together with theories of potential and real infinity. Space Paradox also includes a creative expression of space graphics.

Simple geometric forms and keyframe animation at 30 frames per second are used. The flat cel shading art style was produced entirely in the software Cinema 4D.

Four sections organize the experience: Play, Location, Plan and Information. Shared moments and past outings can also be browsed. The visual design uses the Neomorphism style, also called Soft User Interface, to reduce the digital feeling of information about real places.
